Approach
We set up a service level agreement to document what needs to be done and how often. This can cover everything from production of webstats, analysis of the same, content management, updating or server maintenance. It sets the performance target which we can both measure and ensures that nothing is left to chance. It's easy to forget how important effective maintenance and monitoring is until you don't have it!
